Product information "Bambu Lab AMS Hub"
The AMS Hub is used to expand the number of AMS connected to the Bambu X1/P1 series printers from 1 AMS unit (4 channels) to a maximum of 4 AMS units (16 channels) to improve the fuelling speed across multiple AMS units and support the redundancy of a buffered signal.
Expand your AMS options
The printer's inbuilt buffer can only be connected to 1 AMS. When replaced by the AMS Hub, the printer can connect up to 4 AMS.
Installation
- Install the AMS hub on the back of the printer, replace the filament buffer if present, and use the appropriate 4-pin Bambu cable to connect to the printer, use the 6-pin Bambu cable to connect to the first AMS, and then use the 6-pin cable to connect the remaining AMS in series.
- Use the appropriate PTFE tubing to connect the AMS hub and the air hose connector on the back of the printer. The hose should run between the 4-pin connector and the coil holder to reduce resistance.
- Depending on the placement of the AMS and the printer, you can choose the appropriate length of PTFE tubing to connect the AMS and AMS hub. The hose should be as short as possible and should not be coiled in order to reduce the feed resistance.
