PC (polycarbonate) is a strong thermoplastic 3D printing filament that features excellent impact resistance, high rigidity, heat resistance and flame retardancy. Consequently, PC filament can absorb impact, prevent deformation or cracking, and maintain stability under high temperature and flame. Due to its heat resistance of 110 °C, PC is well suited for use in high-temperature environments, such as under the hood of a car. PC is also known for its impact resistance and is widely used for rigid part manufacturing, functional testing, finished part assembly and fabrication. Raise3D's premium PC filament is certified to both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
