The DF2 3D printer offers impressive technical specifications and is a reliable choice for professional printing tasks. With a build volume of 200 x 112 x 300 mm, despite its compact size of 450 x 400 x 730 mm, it provides a generous print area.

The XY resolution of 78.5 microns ensures precision in every print, regardless of the complexity or geometry of the model. The printer can handle a maximum Z-load of 10 kg, and its printing speed reaches up to 25 mm/h (0.1 mm per layer).

The layer height ranges from 50 to 100 microns, providing flexibility in print quality. The DF2 3D printer comes with a resin tank, an air filter, a finishing box, a toolset, and an intelligent build plate.

Intelligent Printing

The DF2 3D printer uses the Raise3D Air-Peel technology. This solution, placed between the bottom of the resin tank and the optical glass, significantly reduces peel force from 50 kg to 10 kg, speeding up layer removal from the film during the printing process. This advancement relies on an ultra-thin air film ensuring smooth peeling, thereby enhancing print speed and the isotropic properties of printed objects.

The DF2 printer's intelligent build plate seamlessly integrates with post-processing devices through embedded RFID tags. These tags record crucial information, including resin type, wash, and post-curing settings. This integration allows operators to manage washing and post-curing phases effortlessly, irrespective of their familiarity with the manufactured objects.

Thanks to the Intelligent Resin Management System with features like Auto Resin Refill, Resin Material Auto-Recognition, Ultrasonic Liquid Level Monitoring, and Assisted Resin Tank Cleanup, the DF2 efficiently handles resin throughout the 3D printing process, ensuring efficiency and sustainability.

The DF2 is equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen (1920 x 720) with Magic Layout. This feature allows users to change the print layout directly from the screen and easily duplicate prints. Compatible Materials

Regarding compatible materials, the DF2 solution is designed for use with Raise3D's user-friendly resins. The Raise3D resin catalog includes both general and technical materials, covering the needs of individual small-batch production for precise, high-resolution rapid prototyping as well as advanced industrial applications with functional uses.

In addition to offering high-quality 3D printing resins, Raise3D collaborates with brands like Loctite and BASF to develop co-branded 3D printing resins. Furthermore, Raise3D is committed to the Open Resin Program (ORP), allowing the use of third-party materials. Some of the validated materials include Loctite IND405 resin or Loctite PRO476 resin, as well as BASF Ultracur RG3280 resin or RG 1100 B resin. This open material philosophy provides users access to a significantly expanded selection of high-performance resins, ensuring greater flexibility, freedom, and inclusivity in the 3D printing workflow.
