MATERIAL ADVANTAGES
Reliable bonding of fiber layers and load distribution between them provides high strength properties of the resulting composite part.
The molecular structure and properties of the plastic allow filling of possible voids. Its low moisture absorption facilitates the process: CFC-PETG can be printed without prior storage in a drying box.

PRESSURE GUIDELINES
Make sure you are using the latest version of Aura and that your composer is properly calibrated before printing.
TEMPERATURE AND COOLING
CFC-PETG prints best at temperatures between 235 and 245°C. This plastic is suitable for use in the Composer CFC extruder. We recommend cooling with fans (50%) to achieve clean fiber separation in the CFC process.
SPEEDS
We recommend 10-20 mm/s for straight fiber paths, these are the standard speeds in standard Aura profiles.
DRYING AND STORAGE
To avoid excessive moisture absorption, store the material in a cool, dry place. The simplest and very effective method is to add silica gel to the sealed bags containing the filament.
CFC-PETG can be stored without drying for weeks (depending on humidity) without any decrease in print quality. If it has absorbed some moisture, we recommend printing the material in a drying box or simply drying the plastic at 60 °C for 4 hours.
