Preparation

Design

The part should be designed according to the official design specifications and designed for the debinding and sintering process. After the green part is created, it can be smoothed to remove excess distortion and produce a smoother final result.
Before the green part goes through the debinding and sintering process, it must be cleaned of any foreign matter. There must be no residues of print bed adhesion, oils or greases or other foreign bodies on the component. Uncleaned components will result in a failed debinding and sintering process.

Shipping

The debinding and sintering ticket offered is only valid for up to 0.5 kg of material. If the component exceeds this limit, another ticket is required for every 500 g or part thereof. After purchasing the ticket, you will receive an e-mail from us with the official submission form, a shipping label and your individual ticket number. Outbound shipping is your responsibility, return shipping is included.

• Fill out the submission form and include it in the package.
• Print out your individual ticket number and include it as well.
• Stow your green item securely and padded in the package to prevent damage.
• Also include the return label and attach your shipping label to the package.

Debind & Sinter Service Procedure

• Day 1 - The components are received, unpacked and a catalytic debinding is performed.
• Day 2 - The debinding and sintering process is performed.
• Day 3 - Documentation and process result are packed and shipped.

It is important to note that the debinding and sintering service takes place every month on the second and fourth Tuesday. Therefore, the parts should arrive on the previous Friday. If the components arrive later, the process cannot be performed until the next billing. For the process, the components usually cannot be larger than 100x100x100mm (L x W x H). If you exceed this size, the components must be pre-approved. The entire process takes approximately 2-3 business days. Photos of the components are taken at each step for documentation purposes.
