PolyTerra PLA is an eco-friendly 3D printing filament developed by renowned FDM 3D printing material manufacturer Polymaker. Polymaker has a wide range of filaments that includes conventional materials as well as technical materials for professional users.
PolyTerra PLA is a bioplastic developed from the ground up by combining PLA with organic minerals. This significantly reduces the plastic content of the filament and produces a more environmentally friendly FDM 3D printing material.
Thanks to its PLA content, PolyTerra PLA filament can be printed in the same configuration as PLA, does not require a heated bed and warping is almost non-existent. The low technical requirements of this material make it possible to use it in almost any FDM 3D printer on the market.
In addition to the properties it shares with standard PLAs, PolyTerra PLA enables 3D printing of parts with overhangs and bridges at a quality far superior to other PLAs. Furthermore, the surface finish of 3D printed parts is excellent and completely matte. This surface makes it possible to hide layer lines, even when printing with large layer heights.

WE DO IT FOR THE PLANET
Polymaker is committed to fighting plastic waste, and PolyTerra™ PLA is the first step we're taking toward environmentally sustainable products. Our goal is to migrate all our products in this direction.
Here's how PolyTerra™ PLA recycled paperboard packaging helps eliminate plastic waste and helps the planet by having a negative carbon footprint.
To offset the carbon emissions that result from the manufacturing and transportation of each spool, Polymaker partners with OneTreePlanted.org to plant a tree for every spool sold. This way, when the tree is fully grown, it can absorb 22 kg of carbon dioxide per year, which offsets the 4 kg needed to produce one PolyTerra PLA spool.
