The Specialty family offers unique filaments from Polymaker to open up new 3D printing applications.

PolyCast™ is a filament designed to produce investment casting patterns for investment casting applications. 3D printing significantly reduces both cost and lead time by eliminating tooling.

PRINT SETTINGS

Nozzle temperature: 190˚C - 220˚C
Printing speed: 40mm/s - 60mm/s
Bed temperature: 25˚C - 70˚C
Bed surface: glass with adhesive, blue tape.
Cooling fan: ON

Based on 0.4mm nozzle and Simplify 3D v.3.1. Printing conditions may vary depending on printer and nozzle diameter.

Young's modulus: 1745 ± 151 Mpa
Tensile strength: 37.5 ± 1.7 Mpa
Flexural strength: 60.2 ± 1.6 Mpa
Charpy impact strength: 9.6 ± 0.9 kJ/m2

THERMAL PROPERTIES

Glass transition temperature: 70˚C
Vicat softening temperature: 67˚C
Decomposition temperature: 260˚C

NOTES

Drying settings: 60˚C for 12h.
Recommended Auxiliary Materials: PolyDissolve™ S1

It is highly recommended to use PolyBox™ when printing with PolyCast™ and store it in the resealable bag.
