Product Description:
The PEI Build Plate (for Raise3D Pro3 HS and Pro3 Series only) is made of high-strength spring steel with a double-sided PEI powder coating. It offers excellent heat resistance, flame retardancy, strength, and rigidity.

Benefits:

• Double-sided PEI coating – both sides are printable and highly durable.
• High flatness and flexible structure for easy model removal – simply bend the plate gently.
• Heat resistant, flame retardant, strong, and dimensionally stable.
• Compatible with a wide range of filament types.
• Strong first-layer adhesion (for certain filaments, additional glue may be required).

Notes:

• After installing the PEI Build Plate, the nozzle height must be recalibrated. Please follow the appropriate instructions: Pro3 HS Series | Pro3 Series.
• The current slicing profiles for Pro3 HS and Pro3 Series are fully compatible with this build plate.
• Dust, grease, and print residue can reduce adhesion. Regularly clean the surface with mild detergent (e.g., alcohol and water). Avoid strong cleaners or acetone, as they can damage the PEI surface.
• If adhesion weakens, gently sand the textured PEI surface with fine sandpaper (600 grit recommended).
• The PEI coating may leave a texture on the bottom of the print. For a smooth underside, it is recommended to use a raft – note the increased filament consumption and risk of damaging the model during raft removal (especially with thin walls).
• Avoid using a spatula to remove models – it may scratch or damage the surface or peel off the PEI coating.

Safety Warnings:

• The edges of the build plate can be sharp – handle with care to avoid cuts.
• Do not touch the plate during printing.
• After printing, the plate may be extremely hot – wait until it has cooled to room temperature before removing.
