Product Description:
The PEI Build Plate (Pro2 Series only) is made from high-strength spring steel with a double-sided PEI powder coating. It features high temperature resistance, excellent flame retardancy, high strength, and rigidity.

Benefits:

• Double-sided PEI coating – both sides can be used for printing, providing long durability.
• High flatness and flexible design for easy model removal – simply bend the plate gently.
• Heat resistant, flame retardant, strong, and dimensionally stable.
• Compatible with a wide range of printing materials.
• Strong first-layer adhesion (some filaments may require additional glue).

Notes:

• If using the PEI Build Plate for the first time with a Pro2 printer, please purchase the set including the Soft Magnetic Laminate and apply it before use.
• Once the magnetic layer is installed, additional PEI plates can be purchased separately as replacements.
• After applying the magnetic laminate and PEI plate, recalibrate the nozzle height according to the instructions.
• The current slicing profiles for the Pro2 series are compatible with this plate.
• Dust, grease, and residues may reduce adhesion. Clean regularly with mild detergent (e.g., alcohol and water). Do not use harsh cleaners or acetone as they may damage the PEI surface.
• If adhesion decreases, gently sand the textured PEI surface with fine sandpaper (600 grit recommended).
• The PEI coating may leave a texture on the bottom of printed parts. For smooth surfaces, use a raft – note increased filament usage and risk of damage during raft removal (especially for thin walls).
• Avoid using spatulas to remove models, as this can scratch or damage the PEI surface or cause coating to peel off.

Safety Warnings:

• The plate edges are sharp – handle with care to avoid injury.
• Do not touch the plate during printing.
• The plate becomes extremely hot after printing – allow it to cool before removal.
