Kimya PETG-S 3D filament

Kimya PETG-S 3D filament is produced by the copolymerization of PET. Polyethylene terephthalate (PETG) is a polymer belonging to the saturated polyesters. PETG offers the perfect balance between flexibility and mechanical resistance. Transparent objects can be produced with this filament. In industry, PET is used especially for the production of bottles, packaging for cosmetics, food containers, credit or loyalty cards. The 3D filament Kimya PETG-S has the following properties:

Applications of Kimya PETG-S

The filament from the French manufacturer is ideal for creating simple devices or fixtures. Often, PETG is used to make a component where a simple PLA will not suffice. PETG offers higher temperature resistance (80°C) and better mechanical resistance. PETG is also often used in prototyping, both by home users and by industry.
