Bambu Lab H2D – Innovation in Personal Manufacturing
The Bambu Lab H2D combines two advanced manufacturing technologies in one device: Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) for 3D printing and laser technology for engraving and cutting processes (depending on the variant). This versatility makes it ideal for technical applications and creative projects – from functional prototypes to precise engravings on various materials.
Powerful Laser Module (Optional)
The core of the configuration is the optional 10W or 40W laser module, which significantly extends the functionality of the H2D. It allows engraving and cutting of materials with the highest precision – ideal for professional applications.


Innovative Dual Hotend System
The H2D features a unique dual hotend system with two nozzles, enabling simultaneous printing with two colors or materials. The left nozzle is movable and can be lifted, while the right nozzle remains stationary. This reduces material waste and ensures precise control during the printing process.
Large Build Volume for Maximum Flexibility
With an impressive build volume of 350 x 320 x 325 mm, the H2D offers ample space for large print projects or creating multiple objects at once – a significant improvement over previous models.


Ultra-Fine Motion Accuracy through Vision Encoder
The Vision Encoder system of the H2D ensures extremely high motion accuracy of up to 50 micrometers. This technology guarantees excellent print quality with fine details.
Automatic Calibration – No Manual Adjustments Required
Thanks to the fully automated calibration, tedious manual adjustments are no longer necessary. The printer automatically levels the print bed and adjusts the Z-height, ensuring consistently high print quality.
Nozzle Camera for Real-Time Monitoring
The integrated nozzle camera allows precise monitoring of the printing process in real-time. This enables early detection of errors and prevents print failures.


Four Devices in One – Maximum Versatility
The H2D is much more than just a 3D printer. It combines four functions in one device:

Cutting Module for Precise Material Processing
With the optional cutting module (10W or 40W), materials like paper, vinyl, or thin leather can be processed with a maximum cutting thickness of 0.5 mm – ideal for crafting, labeling, or design projects.
Powerful Laser Cutter (Optional)
Laser modules with 10W or 40W are available for the H2D. While the 10W module allows for fine engravings, the 40W module can even cut Balsa plywood up to 15 mm thick – perfect for demanding cutting and engraving tasks.


Maximum Safety with Intelligent Protection Mechanisms
The H2D is equipped with numerous safety features:
✔ Door sensor & Emergency stop button
✔ High-resolution cameras (Nozzle, Toolhead, and BirdsEye cameras) for visual monitoring
✔ Filament-end and filament-knot sensor for early error detection
✔ Power loss recovery for seamless print continuation in case of power outages
Additional safety mechanisms have been integrated for the laser variants: flame and temperature detection, door monitoring, and automatic laser module detection.
AMS 2 Pro – Intelligent Material Management
The advanced Automatic Material System (AMS) 2 Pro manages up to four filament rolls and ensures optimal drying with integrated heating and automatic ventilation. By combining multiple AMS units, up to 24 different materials can be used – perfect for demanding multi-material prints.
